The Equipment List
Below is a list of the equipment that you should have for The Ride. You will have to carry this equipment, so you will have the final say of what you pack, but the list covers all the essential gear.
This would also be a good time to reiterate some expectations and recommendations so you can begin to get your mind and bike in the right state.
- There is NO organized SAG
- You should know the route
- This will be the 10th year, I have never gone the same way.
- Keep the ocean on your right
- Follow the Bike Route signs when all else fails
- Remember, this is an epic ride. Enjoy it!
- Make sure your bike is tuned up BEFORE you push off on the 19th
- Make sure you know how to do simple and not so simple bike repairs.
